Q/  Why are Glass Splashbacks superior over tiles?

A/  There is much less maintenance with glass splashbacks than tiles, they are much easier to clean without dirt and grime collecting in grout. Glass splashbacks are more hygienic for kitchens and bathroom areas as glass is non-pourus. They will also give your home or business a more modern look, as they look sleek and stylish.

 

Q/  When is the best time to request a free measure and quote?

A/   Once your kitchen is completely installed (rangehood/benchtops/power points) and the walls have a smooth flat surface. Mounting points for telephones, rails and shelves need to be installed prior to the measure.

Rangehoods need to be marked out or fitted prior to measuring to obtain an accurate measure and quote.

Q/  What are Peninsula Splashbacks lead times on installations?

A/  10-15 working day turnaround from the signed contract date.

 

Q/  Are all Peninsula Splashbacks made to Australian Safety Standards?

A/  YES, all of our premium glass splashbacks comply to AS1288 and are 6ml toughened safety glass where possible, which are 5-6 times stronger than standard 6mm glass.

 

Q/  What type of warranty does Peninsula Splashbacks offer?

A/  We offer a 12 year Limited Warranty covering all of our glass products and workmanship, with a high emphasis on doing the job to the high standard we are recognised for.

 

Q/ What colours can I have?

A/  We bring our mobile showroom with us, enabling you to place the glass samples in your room to assist your selection. We can also identify the current, most popular colours for you.

We have 100’s of colours to choose from solid matt colours to sparkling metallics, in fact, we can colour match to anything in your kitchen and décor, even if you find a colour in a colour chart from Dulux/Taubmans etc, its not a problem to match. 

 

Q/ Where else can we use glass splashbacks or coloured glass panels?

A/  You are only limited by your imagination. Anywhere there is a clean, flat surface, wet/dry areas from kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, feature walls, kitchen drawers, cupboards and BBQ areas.
